We are back with a bang. This week we talked about the DSWD Educational aid distribution fiasco and how Erwin Tulfo messed up the implementation due  to his inherent mistrust of the government. We also talked about the controversial No Contact Apprehension Program of the 5 Metro Manila Cities.
We checked the process and policies that they implemented and identified the inefficiencies. 

This week we took a look at some of the first actions taken by the Marcos administration. We discussed his first 2 executive orders, one of which involves the abolishment of the Presidential Anti-Corruption Commission. We checked how media entities that are critical to the administration reported the incident. We also checked how people reacted to the Rappler infographic on the matter.

We also briefly discussed the renaming of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport to Ferdinand E. Marcos International Airport and how the extension of the EDSA Carousel, LRT, and MRT free rides were received by the people.

This week we reviewed President Bongbong Marcos' inaugural speech held on June 30 at the steps of the National Museum. We took a look at his promises and the broad strokes of his presidential agenda.

We discussed his major points such as agriculture, education, and climate change. We also talked about how he planned to tackle these issues and the steps he already took such as taking on the role of Department of Agriculture secretary himself and appointing Vice President Sara Duterte as the secretary of the Department of Education.

This week we took a look at the things that we bought and "justified" to ourselves in the past year. From Airpods and Macbooks to Aquaflask and Shure microphones we discussed them all! We checked out our best and worst budol buys.
We also discussed the importance of allowing yourself to responsibly spend money on things that will make you happy.  

This week we talked about the function of Cabinet Secretaries. We discussed how they do the work to make the president's vision come true. We also took a look at some of the controversial picks by the President-Elect Bongbong Marcos such as Sara Duterte for DepEd, Boying Remulla for DOJ, Erwin Tulfo for DSWD, and Clarita Carlos as the National Security Advisor.

It has been more than two years since the world changed totally. With all the negative developments, there was one thing that stood out. The availability of work from home arrangements.

At this point, we’ve heard the majority of the president’s promises. We covered many of the interviews, debates, and platforms in-depth. Many of the so-called plans laid out will need congressional support to be implemented. This is why for this week, we are shining light on the senatorial line-up, apart from the usual celebrities, we also covered the families who are looking to dominate this 2022.

170+ Party lists are running for the May 2022 elections and you are only supposed to choose one. How are you supposed to choose which one to vote for? Do you know enough about most of them to make an informed decision? Do you know what these party list groups are fighting for? Why are we not paying as much attention to them considering that 20% of the congress is made up of party list representatives?

The party list candidates are usually the most overlooked candidates during elections. They are usually an afterthought and can usually be found on the back of the ballot. We only know some of them exclusively because we saw their tarps or billboards. Some we know because their representatives are either famous artists, former elected officials, or sometimes both. 

In this episode we took a quick look at the list of party lists running in the coming May 2022 elections and we tried to search for more information about them. We also talked about how a lot of the party lists' sector that they claim to represent overlaps with other party list groups.

In this episode we discussed what we thought about the interview format and how it managed to flesh out issues better and show us how much the candidates actually know about the issues. We also talked about Bongbong Marcos' performance. Did he do as well as his supporters say? How does his performance look when compared to Leni Robredo, Isko Moreno, Ping Lacson, and Manny Pacquiao?

The Jessica Soho Presidential Interviews by GMA News is out! This is the first time almost all the presidential candidates are put side by side for the people to watch. Emphasis on almost.

In this episode we talked about Bongbong Marcos' absenteeism. We explored how his supporters defended him, how his opponents attacked him, and how he is losing people the people on the fence. Could this be a weak point for the BBM and Sara Duterte camp?

We also talked about the format that Jessica Soho went for in the interviews. We questioned why a lot of the questions were rehashed personality questions while a lot of the important issues that we needed to hear about was crammed into a speed round.

The public reception was also up for discussion. We ran through the recent campaign stunts from Isko Moreno and Manny Pacquiao. We also took a look at how the camps of Leni Robredo, Bongbong Marcos, and Sara Duterte dealt with the onslaught of Typhoon Odette.

We talked about the current social media landscape and the amount of political ads that are currently running. We took all those into consideration when we watched and reacted to the interview of COMELEC Commissioner James Jimenez as he talks about how they are planning to enforce campaign rules this coming 2022 Philippine National Elections.
